This Privacy Policy explains how Paxborne Digital Ltd ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Padre app ("the App").
1. Who we are
Paxborne Digital Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17206962), with its registered office at 5th Floor, 167–169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Account data — your email address, used to create and manage your account
Onboarding answers — your goals, denomination, discipline level, and spiritual health rating, used to personalise your experience
Habit and training data — habits you create, completion logs, training programmes, sessions, and exercises
Health data — if you choose to connect Apple Health, we read step counts and exercise minutes to display your progress. This data is never shared with third parties.
Language preference — the language you select within the app
Usage data — basic logs and error reports to help us improve the app
3. How we use your data
To provide and personalise the Padre app experience
To generate AI-powered habit suggestions and training plans tailored to your goals
To track your habit streaks and progress over time
To communicate with you about your account where necessary
To improve the app and fix issues
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in the EU)
Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-powered habit and training suggestions. Prompts sent to the API do not include personally identifiable information beyond your goals and denomination.
RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
Apple HealthKit — optional health data integration, only when you grant permission
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Your account is protected by authentication managed through Supabase. Health data is only ever stored locally on your device via HealthKit and is never transmitted to our servers.
8. Children
Padre is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
